Getting started

The first hour, in the order the Get Started screen asks for it.

Install and first run Activating the theme, installing the companion plugins, permalinks, email, licence, and the two pages created for you.

Novels and chapters

Filling the library, and getting an existing one in.

Adding a novel Covers, synopsis, genre, status, and the fields that decide how a novel appears everywhere else. Adding chapters Chapter numbers and ordering, scheduling, audio narration, and the per-chapter access settings. Genres and status The two taxonomies readers browse by, and what belongs in each. Theme Options

One page per tab of the JormunTL, Theme Options screen.

Content and Features Novel data, search engines, copy protection, adult content, comments, reader help and tooltips. Accounts and Readers Registration, security and anti-spam, and avatars. Performance and URLs Chapter URL structure, and what changing it does to links already in the wild. Header Notice The site-wide announcement bar. Text and Labels Rewording anything the theme says to a reader, including every paywall line. Privacy and Cookies Legal pages, footer links and the consent banner. Tools Quick actions and the debug switches.

Customizer

One page per panel of Appearance, Customize.

Global Header, footer, notifications, community, novel display, reviews and ratings. Layout settings The homepage builder, site width, library and page layout, novel cards, list view and the single novel page. Styles Colour scheme, typography and the style tools. Ads and support blocks The three ad placements, and the support block for sites that would rather not run ads.

Monetization

One page per part of the Monetization menu, plus what the reader ends up seeing.

How it fits together The three ways a chapter can be paid for, and the order to switch them on so you never charge a reader for something that does not work yet. Site currency Naming your coins, the icon, the singular, and what a chapter costs. Coin packages The six price points readers buy, their artwork, and how prices are entered. Reader accounts

Signing in, being emailed, and the pages a signed-in reader gets.
